Peer Mediation Classes demonstrate their skills. All participating students encourage all schools to have a class and to provide this service to the students. This has had a remarkable success with decreasing violent incidences on campus.

 

Highlands Middle School Safety Club promotes Crime Stoppers (509) 586-TIPS for  anonymously reporting of possible violence. to oneself or violence to others or property.

Youth with disabilities, being treated like everyone else. Don't assume by what we wear or look like, who or what we are or can do. 

Teen-Talk - We're Hear to Listen  provides daily teen members to answer calls from other teens.
The Benton Franklin Counties Dispute Resolution Center provides training to become Mediators and helps families with problems. Volunteering, a way to learn job skills, a way to help others, a way to spend your time. Contact the Volunteer Center for support.
Take every opportunity to have children, youth and adults sign the Peace Pledge. During the Holiday Season hand out Peace Under the Tree encouraging people to buy peaceful toys.
